Lithuanian Rock Scene has struggled through much animosity and
contempt by the authorities in an attempt to become a mainstream
style of music. It was considered a decadent and corrupting cultural
invasion in the West in the 1960’s and 1970’s so few had means to
access it. The only way really was through Radio Luxembourg, the only
station on Soviet frequencies that played popular rock.
